
Czech Republic | The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University recently hosted its annual Company Days, bringing together students and potential employers in a dynamic two day event. A total of 46 companies participated, many of them long term partners, creating valuable opportunities for students to explore career paths and build professional connections.The event focused strongly on personal interaction, with university representatives emphasizing that direct communication between students and employers remains essential. Students used the opportunity to ask questions, discuss career options, and in some cases even demonstrate their skills through practical problem solving activities at company booths.Organizers highlighted that Company Days are not just a one time event but a starting point for long term collaboration. Partnerships between the faculty and companies often lead to internships, thesis topics, guest lectures, and future employment opportunities. Many companies also view the event as a long term investment, maintaining contact with students over time.Students attended with different goals.
