
Czech Republic | A prominent tech university, in partnership with an innovation centre, has been named the national representative for the European EIT Food initiative from 2026 to 2028. This collaboration aims to connect local research groups, students, and businesses with the European innovation network to build a sustainable, resilient food system.The new national team will focus on bridging the gap between academia and industry, mentoring agri-food startups, and running practical problem-solving programs for student teams. This appointment builds on years of successful hub activities that have already helped local startups secure international backing for advancements in precision farming AI, microalgae-based proteins, and specialized animal nutrition.
