
Hungary | Obuda University recently welcomed a high-level Korean academic delegation, marking an important step in strengthening its international partnerships and advancing discussions on the future of higher education.The delegation, led by Yong Seb Choi from the University Competitiveness Network, included 18 university leaders. Their visit focused on the growing role of artificial intelligence in shaping modern education systems and institutional strategies.During the meeting, Rector Levente Kovacs emphasized the increasing importance of AI in global academic discourse. He also highlighted Hungary’s strong international position in AI application, noting its ranking among the world’s top countries in this field.The discussions outlined several key areas for future collaboration, including joint academic forums, industry-university partnerships, and the sharing of talent development practices. The delegation also explored connections between research centers and university faculties, aiming to strengthen innovation ecosystems.Supported by the Korean Embassy, the visit aligns with Obuda University’s broader internationalization strategy. The institution has already established partnerships with six universities in South Korea, and this meeting further expands its global academic network.Overall, the visit represents a significant milestone in fostering long-term cooperation and enhancing Obuda University’s presence in international higher education.
