
Poland | A research management system called Omega PSIR, developed at Warsaw University of Technology, has been successfully implemented in nearly 50 academic and research institutions. The platform is designed to centrally manage scientific information, including publications, projects, patents, theses, awards, and researcher profiles.The system also supports automated evaluation processes required by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland. During the Omega PSIR Users Conference 2026, university representatives highlighted how the platform enables data-driven decision-making and improves research administration efficiency.Officials from Warsaw University of Technology emphasized that the system, developed over 14 years, has become widely adopted beyond the university and is now used internationally. It integrates with global research databases such as ORCID, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, improving access to scientific collaboration networks and research outputs.The system is also recognized for helping universities manage complex evaluation procedures more efficiently, supporting better research planning and institutional performance tracking.
