A working meeting of the Quality Subcommittee of the Council of Coordinating Polytechnics Institutes was hosted by the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon to discuss quality assurance in higher education. The session brought together representatives from several polytechnic institutions to review current initiatives and plan upcoming national activities related to quality standards.During the meeting, participants discussed topics such as the integration of metadata into the CCISP portal and updates on the publication of a summary book from previous quality conferences. The discussion also addressed the role of the Quality Subcommittee and contributions from institutional evaluation processes conducted by Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education.The meeting also highlighted preparations for upcoming national events, including the IV National Meeting of Accreditation Teams scheduled for July 10, 2026, at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, and the III Quality Meeting planned for November 10, 2026, at the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém. Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation among institutions to improve quality practices in the polytechnic higher education sector.
