Belgium | A prominent university network has hosted a series of international professional training weeks to enhance staff competencies, share administrative practices, and strengthen cross-border academic collaboration across Europe. The intensive workshops focused on three primary domains. First, communications teams analyzed the benefits and risks of generative artificial intelligence, focusing on data verification, algorithmic bias, and the necessity of human oversight in institutional media. Second, researchers participated in workshops centered on participatory research methodologies, developing strategies to design and manage scientific projects collaboratively with local communities rather than just for them. Finally, a dedicated program for central administrative staff explored broad campus internationalization, providing participants with practical tools for intercultural communication, multilingual engagement, and inclusive student support services.
