A strategic discussion session under the IPL2033 project was held at the Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa on 2026. The meeting brought together lecturers, students, and administrative staff to share ideas and perspectives on the future development of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon.The initiative is part of a series of sessions taking place across different schools of the institution to gather contributions for its long-term strategic plan. Participants discussed key issues such as attracting and retaining students, addressing the causes of student dropout, and strengthening academic collaboration between schools.During the session, participants also explored broader goals, including expanding research activities and the potential transition of the institution into a university in the future. The discussions aim to help define priorities and strategic directions for the next decade.
