More than 35 medical students from five Irish universities, including RCSI, UCD, UCC, University of Limerick, and Trinity College Dublin, competed at RCSI’s surgical simulation facilities. Marcelina Wieczorek (UCC) won the individual category, with Megan Lim (TCD) second and Aneesh Kaul (RCSI) third. UCC won the team award. The competition provides aspiring surgeons a platform to practice laparoscopic and suturing skills in a supportive environment.
