The University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) celebrated the winners of the second edition of the Skrzydła Warmii i Mazur competition, honoring students whose projects contribute to the socio-economic development of the Warmia and Mazury region. The contest, organized jointly by Radosław Król, the regional governor, and Prof. Jerzy Przyborowski, UWM rector, awarded students for creativity, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement.Key winners:1st place: Lucyna and Krystyna Gliwka – project Kłobuk.AI, an AI platform supporting SMEs in digital transformation and regional promotion.2nd place: Gabriela Marlęga, Krzysztof Chaciński, Zuzanna Podlaszczak, Aleksandra Rudzińska – project “Lokalny Odkrywca”.3rd place: Paweł Antczak, Anton Bohak, Olaf Gołębiowski – project Safe Skate.Winners will visit Brussels, funded by MEP Adam Jarubas, to showcase their projects at the European level. Special recognitions were also given for innovative ideas in biofilm materials, regional cuisine, and local culture.The gala emphasized the importance of student creativity in regional growth and the value of collaboration between students, entrepreneurs, and university experts.
