University of Ljubljana participated in the annual Global Education Coalition meeting held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris on 23–24 March 2026, highlighting its active role in shaping global education strategies.The event brought together international stakeholders to address key challenges in education, including digital transformation, inequality in access to schooling, and the global shortage of teachers. Discussions focused on how technology and artificial intelligence can support more inclusive and sustainable education systems.The university was represented by Rector Gregor Majdič and Professor Gregor Torkar, reinforcing its commitment to international collaboration and innovation in education.Participants also explored solutions for improving digital skills, financing education systems, and strengthening cooperation across institutions. The coalition, which includes over 240 partners, continues to serve as a key global platform for advancing quality education worldwide.
