Central European University continues to excel in the 2026 QS World University Rankings by Subject, highlighting its sustained international reputation across core disciplines. CEU’s Politics & International Studies ranked 45th globally, while Sociology, Social Policy & Administration, Philosophy, and History placed in the top 100. Other subjects, including Anthropology, Law, Economics & Econometrics, and Business & Management Studies, were also ranked, reflecting CEU’s consistent strength in social sciences and humanities. The rankings assess universities based on academic reputation, employer reputation, research impact, and international collaboration.
