Dr Csépe Valéria delivered a lecture on neurodiversity in the classroom at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University on April 2026. The presentation focused on atypical child development, the challenges of inclusive education, and the importance of adapting teaching methods to support diverse learning needs.She explained that there is no single universal teaching method that works for all students, emphasizing that effective pedagogy depends on approaches that teachers understand well and can apply confidently. The lecture also highlighted the importance of setting realistic educational goals and ensuring that students with different developmental conditions, such as dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, speech impairments, hearing or vision difficulties, and motor or intellectual disabilities, are included in the learning process.Dr Csépe also stressed the need for continuous teacher training, proper assessment of students, and strong cooperation among education professionals to ensure effective inclusive education.
