The Senate of University of Ljubljana has officially approved its annual business report along with a quality review, outlining the institution’s achievements and progress toward strategic goals in 2025.The report includes a comprehensive overview of university activities, financial performance, and quality assurance measures, aligned with national guidelines and the university’s long-term strategy for 2022–2027.During the session, the Senate also adopted updates to a pilot methodology for evaluating research programmes, which defines criteria and procedures for assessing quality, performance, and development potential. The evaluation process will focus on life sciences programmes in 2026.In addition, several key decisions were approved, including the academic calendar for the 2026–2027 academic year, updated internal regulations, and operational rules for research and study programme committees. These steps aim to strengthen governance, academic quality, and institutional development.
