Denmark | The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is establishing a central Research Ethics Committee (DTU REC) in summer 2026 to provide voluntary, advisory guidance on ethical issues in research involving human subjects and data. Led by Prorektor Christine Nellemann as a pilot project, the initiative aims to strengthen responsible research practices, particularly for studies that do not fall under the national scientific ethical committee system.
