Assistant Professor Majse Lind from the Department of Culture and Communication at Aalborg University (AAU) has received this year’s Nils Klim Prize from the University of Bergen.The Nils Klim Prize is one of the most prestigious Nordic research awards for young researchers, awarded by the Holberg Committee on behalf of the Norwegian Parliament.Majse Lind, a clinical psychology researcher, was recognized for her interdisciplinary research on mental health, focusing on disorders among youth and older adults. Her work explores how personal narratives can help identify and treat psychological challenges, including personality and identity-related issues.Her research also includes innovative use of artificial intelligence to detect early signs of identity difficulties. She has published over 50 scientific articles and is a research leader of AI:MIND at AAU, a project aimed at supporting youth mental health through conversational AI.Majse Lind commented:”Being recognized for my work with the Nils Klim Prize is deeply meaningful. Much of the work as a young researcher happens quietly, driven by curiosity and engagement. Receiving such recognition is incredibly affirming.”
