The Jožef Stefan Institute awarded its Golden Sign for the most outstanding doctorates over the past three years. Recipients include Ana Rebeka Kamšek (Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology) for work on platinum and iridium nanocomposite electrocatalysts, Luka Pavešić (Faculty of Mathematics and Physics) for advances in superconducting quantum systems, and Vitjan Zavrtanik (Faculty of Computer and Information Science) for developing unsupervised methods to detect surface anomalies. Their research spans advanced materials, quantum physics, and AI-driven industrial applications.
