
On the occasion of Hungary’s National Foundation Day, August 20, Dr. Tamás Sulyok, President of the Republic, awarded prestigious state honors to several members of Széchenyi István University.
Recipients included Dr. Péter Vári for achievements in media administration, Dr. Attila Kiss for research and academic contributions, Dr. András Unger for decades of work in dairy science and community service, Dr. Sándor Remsei for contributions to economics education, and Knauz Péter, Hancz Gábor, and Rogerson Paul Richard for exceptional service in management, communications, and international programs.
These awards, ranging from the Hungarian Order of Merit Knight Cross to Gold, Silver, and Bronze Crosses, recognize both professional excellence and dedication to supporting students and the broader community.
