The University of Evora has demonstrated remarkable resilience in the 2025 National Higher Education Admissions, filling 1,193 of 1,371 available places in the first phase—a rate of 87 percent. While national admissions dropped by 12 percent, the University of Evora saw only a 2.5 percent decrease in applicants, reflecting its growing reputation for quality education and research.
Notably, the new Aerospace Engineering degree program attracted high demand, with all places filled and the last admitted student scoring 17 out of 20, highlighting both candidate excellence and the program’s prestige. The University continues to excel across health, pharmaceutical sciences, agro-food, and arts programs, with 22 courses fully enrolled.
The remaining 181 places will be offered in the second admission phase from August 25 to September 3, confirming the University of Evora’s sustained growth and commitment to high-quality education, scientific research, and strong ties with society and industry.
