Poland | Students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science at Warsaw University of Technology have achieved major success at the international HackCarpathia 2026 hackathon. The team CombAIns won first place in the MedTech category and also became the overall winners of the competition.Their project, titled Be Ready, is an educational platform designed to support young women preparing for their first visit to a gynecologist. The application provides guidance on what to expect during the visit, how to prepare for questions, and what types of examinations may be conducted. It also includes dedicated sections for parents and partners to help them understand how to offer support and ensure comfort. The team created the solution entirely during the hackathon. They emphasized that although the team consisted of six male students, they focused on addressing an important and often overlooked healthcare topic affecting young women. The project was developed by Filip Langiewicz, Maciej Momot, Mikołaj Rowicki, Jakub Półtorak, Igor Rudolf, and Michał Pytel. This is not their first achievement at HackCarpathia, as the same team previously won in an earlier edition, showing consistent performance in international student innovation events.
