Poland | A charity plant fair titled “Weź roślinkę nakarm psinkę… i kotka też” has officially begun at the University of Lodz, bringing together students, staff, and local residents for a good cause. The annual event combines plant exchange and sale with fundraising efforts to support animal welfare organizations. Participants can donate plants or pet food, take home new greenery, or contribute financially through on-site collections and online payments. This year’s edition also includes cooperation with local animal shelters and the Łódź Palm House, which has provided rare and decorative plant species. The initiative promotes environmental awareness, community engagement, and direct support for abandoned and rescued animals.
