
Ireland | Atlantic Technological University PhD researcher Erin Pyper has received national funding of 136000 euros to study how the menstrual cycle affects women’s physical activity levels and quality of life. The research will examine how symptoms across different stages of the reproductive lifespan influence exercise participation and overall wellbeing.The study will use interviews, focus groups, and literature reviews to address gaps in women’s health research. The project also aims to develop educational tools that support women’s health and encourage long term physical activity.
