Finland | A new study found that nature based group activities helped reduce loneliness and improve sleep, memory, and emotional wellbeing among older adults living in care homes. Researchers said weekly outdoor and nature focused sessions over nine weeks created positive health benefits through social connection and shared activities. The study involved 319 elderly participants, many with memory disorders, and highlighted the importance of regular access to nature for mental and physical wellbeing.
