Czech Republic | Česká zemědělská univerzita v Praze celebrated a major sporting achievement after its men’s basketball team won the Czech University Basketball League championship during the Final Four tournament in Ostrava. The competition brought together the top university basketball teams from across the country, including Masaryk University, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University, and the University of Ostrava.The Prague based team delivered strong performances throughout the season and continued its impressive form during the final stage of the tournament. In the semifinal, the team defeated the University of Ostrava with a convincing 90 to 73 victory after taking control of the match in the second half.In the championship game, the university faced Masaryk University in a highly competitive final. Once again, the players from Prague showed composure and quality during the decisive moments of the second half, securing another 90 to 73 win and claiming the national university league title.University officials described the victory as an important moment for the institution’s sporting tradition.
