Poland | The National Synchrotron Radiation Centre SOLARIS hosted a major anniversary gala to mark a decade of cutting-edge structural research and cross-border innovation. The event brought together over two hundred international researchers, public administrators, and European infrastructure delegates to celebrate ten years of turning particle physics into actionable structural data. The development of the facility represents one of the largest specialized infrastructure investments in modern central Europe, bridging a historic logistical gap for regional researchers. By establishing a localized, open-access synchrotron matrix, the facility has successfully enabled regional research teams to run complex molecular, materials, and biochemical analyses natively. In addition to its raw analytical capacity, the center remains deeply embedded in the League of European Accelerator-based Photon Sources, working to synchronize data protocols and experimental standards across the continent.
