Ireland | Researchers at Trinity College Dublin have secured €650,000 in funding to transform an existing injectable influenza vaccine into a nasal spray. The project aims to strengthen immune protection at the respiratory tract, where flu viruses first enter and spread. Using a novel vaccine booster technology called C100, the team hopes to create a more effective and potentially transmission blocking influenza vaccine, paving the way for future human clinical trials.
