Hungary | The University of Miskolc took part in the national Girls Day initiative, welcoming high school students to explore opportunities in engineering and technical fields.Held on April 23, the event aimed to break stereotypes and encourage young women to consider careers in science and engineering. The university’s rector, Professor Zita Horváth, opened the कार्यक्रम with an inspiring message, urging students to dream big and choose their own paths.Participants were introduced to campus life through presentations and an institutional film, followed by showcases from three faculties. These included insights into sustainability and environmental engineering, modern technologies and innovation, and the integration of mechanical engineering with informatics.Students also had the opportunity to visit laboratories and take part in hands-on experiments, allowing them to experience real scientific and engineering work in practice.The event highlighted that talent has no gender and emphasized equal opportunities in technical careers, helping students make informed decisions about their future.
