The scholarships, equal to the value of tuition fees, were awarded to students who selected the institution as their first choice and entered higher education in the 2024–2025 academic year with grades of 17 or higher. The event celebrated academic excellence, dedication, and perseverance among new students.The ceremony opened with a musical performance by Pedro Morais, a student of Applied Musical Studies at the Coimbra School of Education. During the event, IPC President Cândida Malça praised the students for their hard work and disciplined study habits, emphasizing that excellence is a continuous journey rather than a final destination.
