The event focused on accelerating knowledge transfer and integrating higher education institutions into active innovation ecosystems to drive regional economic development.Discussions centered on bridging the gap between theory and industry needs through systemic cooperation, curriculum updates, and interdisciplinary approaches. Industry experts and academic leaders showcased successful partnerships, emphasizing the value of doctoral talent in corporate research, the early recognition of professional skills, and the rise of micro-credentials to supplement traditional degrees.Participants concluded that regional unity through the forum is vital for maintaining academic freedom, meeting European standards of excellence, and transforming universities into proactive partners that shape future workforces and fuel societal progress.
