Silesian University in Opava welcomed a delegation from J. F. Oberlin University at its School of Business Administration in Karviná as part of the Erasmus+ initiative supporting international academic cooperation.The visiting professors delivered an open lecture on Japanese society and culture, offering students insights into cultural values, work ethics, and social differences. Discussions highlighted the importance of global understanding and cross cultural exchange.The visit also included meetings aimed at strengthening future collaboration between the institutions. In addition, the delegation explored the local region, gaining exposure to its industrial heritage and cultural environment.Such exchanges continue to enhance academic cooperation, broaden perspectives, and foster mutual understanding in an increasingly interconnected world.
