
Trinity College Dublin is hosting its 24th annual Green Week, bringing together students, staff, and the wider community to celebrate sustainability through a diverse program of events, workshops, and discussions.The week features more than 20 activities, including the launch of the inaugural Sustainability Leadership Awards. Popular returning events include biodiversity-focused campus tours led by Collie Ennis, a free bike repair clinic, a daily swap shop, and a repair café where participants can fix household items while promoting reuse.Key discussions during the event include tackling the biodiversity crisis, led by Jane Stout, and a panel on climate misinformation hosted by Sustainability Manager Jane Hackett, featuring journalist Shane Raymond.Students can also engage in sustainability-focused career panels and workshops on activism for sustainable travel. The event highlights practical steps individuals can take toward environmental responsibility, while fostering collaboration and awareness within the university community.Green Week continues to serve as a platform for inspiring sustainable action, encouraging participants to connect, learn, and contribute to a more environmentally conscious future.
