Sweden | The Swedish government has awarded funding to Stockholm University to establish a new master’s programme aimed at strengthening Sweden’s role and influence within the European Union. The two year programme will start in autumn 2026 and will train students in EU affairs public administration economics political science and later law. The university will receive SEK 9 million in 2026 and SEK 18 million annually from 2027 to support the programme and prepare future professionals for EU related careers.
